NPC to Host Virtual Seminar on May 16, 2023

Enterprise Bank’s Non-Profit Collaborative will present a virtual Zoom seminar, “How to Build a High Performance Board,” led by acclaimed consultant and trainer Diane Remin, MBA, founder and president of MajorDonors.com. The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2021, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

A tactical approach to building a high-performance board starts with where you are in your board’s lifecycle and looks at everything from board size to board recruitment. What role do board committees play? How do you maximize board giving while being inclusive? How do you take your board to the next level with a fresh set of candidates able to take on your board’s most critical tasks?

During this workshop, you will learn:

•             High performance expectations for board members in relation to strategy, fundraising, and the Executive Director

•             Where your board is now and what the next stage looks like

•             How to build the board you need now

•             How to use a “Board Prospectus” to market your organization and clearly define board member expectations, including giving and attendance.
